Trigeminal Neuralgia Charities

 

Professor Joanna Zakrzewska has put a lot of effort into improving both patient support and the treatment of Trigeminal Neuralgia ("TN") by founding and/or supporting voluntary organisations outside universities, the NHS and other medical services. For example, in 1999,, together with a patient, she founded the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association UK ("TNA").  This is a very active patient support group today.  For further details see its website tna.org.uk.
